Ayra Starr And ZAYN Bring ‘Heaven Baby’ To Life

Some collaborations simply make sense. Ayra Starr and ZAYN’s “Heaven Baby” feels like one of them.

Originally featured on Ayra’s Starrgirl, the collaboration brings together her Afropop energy with ZAYN’s softer R&B influenced vocals. Now, the official music video gives the song a visual world of its own.

A Softer Side Of Ayra

“Heaven Baby” sits on the more intimate side of Ayra Starr’s sound. Rather than chasing a big, dramatic storyline, the video focuses on atmosphere.

Directed by Earthboi, the visual moves through dark spaces, metallic textures, tinted glass and blue lighting, creating something sleek, mysterious and almost dreamlike.

Ayra and ZAYN remain at the centre of it all.

Two Voices, One Feeling

What makes the collaboration work is that neither artist has to lose their identity.

Ayra brings the warmth and rhythm that have become central to her sound, while ZAYN adds the delicate vocal quality that has long connected him to R&B.

Together, they capture the feeling of being completely drawn to someone.

It is romantic without becoming overly dramatic, allowing the chemistry between the two voices to do most of the work.

A Full Circle Moment For Ayra

The collaboration also carries a personal meaning for Ayra, who has spoken about being a longtime fan of ZAYN.

That makes “Heaven Baby” feel like more than another international collaboration. It is a meeting between two artists from different musical worlds who find common ground through R&B, melody and emotion.

The video keeps that feeling intact.

There is no need to overcomplicate it. Just Ayra Starr, ZAYN and a world that feels somewhere between reality and a dream.

With “Heaven Baby,” the two artists have created one of Starrgirl’s quieter moments, but perhaps one of its most captivating.
